The main highlights of our 32nd Patotsav celebrations occurred on Days 8 and 9. Day 8 began with Shri Maruti Pujan, honoring Lord Hanuman. Over 40 devotees took part in this pujan which was led by Shri Dinesh Maharaj. Later in the afternoon, the Samuh Mahapuja was led by Parshad Shri Janmangal Bhagat. During the mahapuja, all of the yajmans had the opportunity to perform Kesar Abhishek of Thakorji- Shri Harikrishna Maharaj. Over 50 devotees took part in this Mahapuja. Also on this day, we welcomed Shri Dharmakul with a grand procession (Shobha Yatra) through the outside of our mandir. Devotees danced to various kirtans and Raas in the presence of Dharmakul. Following Shobha Yatra, Dharmakul performed the purnahuti Aarti for Mahapuja. P.P. Bal Lalji Shri Yagnendraprasadji Maharaj even blessed all of those who participated in the Mahapuja by showering flowers upon everyone!

Day 9 began with Dev Pujan being performed by Dharmakul and yajmans. Shri Dinesh Maharaj led various vidhis which are part of the re-consecration process. After Dev Pujan, Maha Abhishek was done of thakorji with various juices by both Dharmakul and Yajmans. Following the Abhishek, Shri Ghanshyam Maharaj was adorned with stunning vagha made of flower petals which were prepared by Laxminarayan Dev Mahila Mandal (LNDMM) of our mandir!

Also on this special day, the descendant of Hemrajbhai Shah (devotee from Maharaj’s time), Narendrabhai Shah, brought special prasadi items from the time of Shriji Maharaj giving devotees a chance to do darshan of sacred relics. P.P. Lalji Maharajshri and P.P. Bal Lalji Maharajshri took a special moment to do darshan of these relics.

During the sabha, we were fortunate enough to witness an historic announcement made by P.P. Lalji Maharajshri – the opening of Vadtal Dham – Shri Swaminarayan Hindu temple in Calgary, Canada!

Following the blessings given by Lalji Maharajshri and Bal Lalji Maharajshri, devotees had the chance to do darshan of the grand annakut (mountain of food). Countless dishes and delicacies were prepared by our kitchen team along with items prepared by devotees at home.

The morning program was then followed by SGBYM Cultural Program in the afternoon. With over 50 participants and 16 performances, the youth of our temple put on an entertaining program. We also had a special performance by P.P. Lali Rajashri!

Our 32nd Patotsav celebrations concluded with a purnahuti sabha. During this sabha, the entire Dharmakul Parivar joined devotees in a Maha Raas Utsav! Devotees were joyous that the celebrations concluded in such a festive fashion!
