Tulsi Vivah, a sacred Hindu celebration that symbolizes the ceremonial marriage between Tulsi Mata and Shaligram Bhagwan (Vishnu), was joyously celebrated at Vadtal Dham – Shree Swaminarayan Temple in Wheeling, IL, spanning two memorable days on November 25th and 26th. The auspicious occasion was made even more special by the presence of the yajman families, namely Vijaykumar & Pushpaben Patel representing Kanya Paksh from Rajpur, and Bharatkumar & Daxaben Patel representing Var Paksh from Dangarva. These two families played a pivotal role in orchestrating the festivities that unfolded in the divine ambiance of the temple.

The vibrant celebrations commenced on November 25th with mehndi and garba, setting the stage for the main wedding ceremony on November 26th at 11 am. The auspicious day kicked off with the ceremonial Ganesh Sthapna and Mandap Murat, creating an atmosphere brimming with divine blessings and joyous anticipation. Notably, during this year’s mangal phera, it was Bhagwan Narayan who took the ceremonial seat first, adding a unique and spiritually significant touch to the sacred proceedings. As the day unfolded, the temple resonated with devotional fervor and the sacred vows exchanged during the Tulsi Vivah ceremony.

At the culmination of the grand event, both of the host families extended heartfelt gratitude to all the devoted participants who contributed to the celebration.
