Janmashtami, the joyous celebration of the birth of Lila Purushottam Bhagwan Shri Krishna, resonated with fervor and devotion at Vadtal Dham – Shri Swaminarayan Temple, Wheeling, on August 19th. The Janmashtami festivities commenced early in the afternoon, with devotees participating in various devotional activities. From afternoon till midnight, the temple was filled with melodious bhajans, kirtans, and soul-stirring prayers dedicated to Lord Shri Krishna. The temple’s sanctum resonated with the echoes of the Mahamantra, chanting the divine name of the Lord, and devotees immersed themselves in the divine aura of the celebration.
